Default seo question?

the site in reference is http://www.cometosandiego.com

3months ago i was on the top of all search engines for a ton of phrases

i have fell so i am going to make some changes to the site

1-get rid of the pop up thing
2-add 2 more sections below sightseeing & tours
3--AND IM THINKING about switching the google ads to the left and put the stuff on the left to the right
4-complete the links so there are no dead links
5 make it w3 error free

what else can or should i do

Well, on site SEO is helpful, but not nearly as important as off-site SEO and backlinks. I am actually an author who has written an eBook on SEO and I give it away for free. You can download it at the site below. Perhaps it can help you work your way back up.
