I was an industrial electrician for 6 years so im good with hand tools and what not, but Ive never done alot of home maintenance. Im buying my 1st house in a few weeks.

General maintanence books with pictures are good but since you are an electrician...that is half the battle.

I like the "KISS" and "For Dummies" series. They've always been very helpful to us. You can buy them at just about any book store. On Amazon the "Kiss" book is $20.00 and the "Dummies" is $14.99. Good Luck!!
