Thumbs up Cheap renovations made me rich

I've bought and sold over 30 properties since the early 1990's - I've seen the high points and the low point's and I never stopped loving real estate. How could I when it has made me so much money over the years. It's so easy to spot a dump with potential and no matter what the market conditions you can always and I mean always find a property to make money on. I try and look for places with the minumum amount to spend, that is to say I look for places that need a coat of paint and a good clean up. I am not ashamed to say that I have more than doubled my money on more than one property after costs. It's not difficult, it's not science it's just experience and that comes from looking. Look at as many different proeprty deals as you can until you learn to spot a bargain from a mile away. You can and will find them. It is not always easy - there can be late nights and back breaking work but you can make money. I don't as a rule hold more than a couple of properties as I like to turn them over under the current market conditions of the time, this is just the way I like to play the property game.
