Default When I buy I always always ask my wife!

When I am buying a house to renovate I always get my wife involved. I don't get her involved in the numbers or the sums or the maths but I do get her opinion on the renovations, colours, kitchens and bathrooms. Although this is not always the case more often than not "the wife" sees the whole project through a different set of eyes, more often than not those very same eyes that I fell in love with have also saved me from making some very bad decisions. There are a couple of points here, a second opinion is always good even if property is my game "the wife" looks at things I am guessing like a prospective "buyers" wife might. Although most men don't admit it at the end of the day "happy wife" = "happy life". When a couple buys a house the "wife" most often buys the house. This is not a 100% exact science but there is no question in our case the advise of my nearest and dearest has worked a treat. We make a good team.

Good to hear that from you honest. It's simply means that women have more knowledge and skills about buying or renovating a house. But of course, two heads is better than one. Buying a home is a complicated process, that's why I make sure to arrange all finances. I'm smart enough in saving strategies before buying a house.

Thats a good strategy. It's true the prospecitve decision comes from the "Wife" in terms of buyers..
