Well, Yeah I do dance, Volleyball, and Swimming and everyone says all i do is sports and its true. Dancing still involves excersise so its a sport

no, it is an ART FORM. It does involve moving around and being active, but it is always associated with say piano and things like that. Plus, when you think of sports, you don't think pretty. You think sweat, yelling, and not to much grace.

Seriously, the way competitive ball room dancers go at it looks very athletic. Some of them should wear knee guards and neck braces.

Well in my vision dance is both art and sport. Sport because you sure have talents and as what angelgirl said it takes hard work, and art because it was the way to express emotions.. and I really like dancing

No, they may be athletic but it is a hobby, just like exercise. You can be athletic and exercise, but that doesn't mean you are playing a sport.
