Default We've got a beautiful new council house but I cannot share the news!!?
I wish I could but I just cannot trust my father not to spread the word round this little town that we'll be leaving before the end of the year.

We owned our first home together but had to leave it because of circumstances. We moved into a horrible flat in a horrible estate. Now, just about 2 months after I gave up hope of getting an exchange or a move...

THE COUNCIL OFFERED US A NEW HOME!!!!!!!
And after a weekend of wondering what it would be like we found out together today.

ITS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
Its a semi detached house with gardens front and back in a beautiful little village near the beach. Its the kind of place we dreamed of buying before the prices went ballistic.

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT. I REALLY CANNOT.

YAHOOOOO!!!!

Sorry, no question as such.
I DANCED LIKE TOM CRUISE ON OPRAH WHEN WE GOT HOME FROM SEEING IT

Congrats, that's brilliant. Good luck to you both, may you make some wonderful new memories in your new place. It sounds like a really great place to live. Good to know you're out of a bad area, that can be really stressful at times. If you don't feel comfortable telling your Dad, then don't, you're not obliged to. (Is it a fear of estate kids ruining it?)

You may not be able to share it with your father for now but you can with all of us...
Sounds great, near the beach which one? i`m envious, maybe when you have been there a few years you may be able to buy it
