Default Etiquette for thanking your realtor after you've finally found and bought a new home?

Is a sincere handwritten thank you note enough or is something more like flowers, a gift basket or gift card required? What's your experience been?

This is a rather late reply, but the best 'thank you' you can give to your outstanding realtor is referrals. It sounds cliche, but it's true!

I wish I got more of those kind of gifts from clients. Referrals are like gold to the average realtor.
