Default Best place to buy a second home in the states?

Which do you think is a better place, Miami, Orlando Fl, or somewhere in the Carolinas?
We are a young family with one toddler and one pre-schooler.
If you have any other suggestions, feel free to elaborate.
We like Miami for its feel, shooping, dining and it has a very accesible airport. Orlando for the parks, and lakes.
And The Carolinas, for its nature settings.
Also the New England area and the West Coast but, resorts there are more expensive.

Being a young family, I would think you would enjoy more use out of Orlando. I am really not sure if your goal of owning a second home is just for investment purposes only though. Have you looked at actual real estate, realtor.com or somewhere to learn what the markets are about, what your money will buy where and then at what the insurance costs / transportation costs to get to your second home will be like.

Have you thought about the Reunion community in Celebration Florida, near Orlando? Condos and single family homes are located near Disney, Universal, MGM, and nestled within one of the nations top PGA golf courses, it's own water park and accesible to the Orlando International airport. Anaka Sworeson has her golf academy there also.
Nice and safe for the family!
