used for decoration? they kinda look like medallions with slats(sp?) but i dont think that is the correct word i am looking for. in older homes they are used for venting attics and even some are real windows but the thing i am referring to is vinyl and not a window but more for decoration.

I know what you're talking about but I thought it was just called a decorative vent.
