As it isnt entirely a gender world any more the dabate I hear so often is ... "Is Trash still a man's duty"?
Most Men I know will agree that dinner is a womens thing, and trash a man's thing. I am wondering what you think, who is or should take out the trach each week? |

I prefer for my hubby to take out the trash because I have so many responsibilities while he travels for work. I think while he's home it's a nice gesture for him to handle one unpleasant task for me.
Oddly (to me) my mother-in-law considers it her job to take out the trash so her sweetie doesn't have to lift a finger. |

In our house, he does the trash but I do the recycleables. He mostly cooks the meat portion of the dinner and I do the sides. It's really a partnership deal.
We both mow the lawn. He has a gas lawn mower and I have an electric one. I do the areas that are harder to reach with the gas mower and around the gardens. He does the big stretches of grass. I do the laundry. He hates doing it but I like it. He shovels the snow. I hate doing that, he likes it. I don't think gender roles are so cut and dry any more. |
