Default I am trying to lower noise from the interstate on the back of my property, any

advice on types of plants/brush I have a 4 acre plot on a hillside with the interstate down below approx. 1/8 mile from my home any ideas to reduce noise with plants and or fences I would greatly appreciate.

If you get arborvitaes and plant them in a row - they will grow fairly high and will cut down tremendously on the noise. I have some that are 15' behind my house and I hear nothing.
