Default In commercial Real Estate do you pay monthly rent on patio square

fottage? Does it matter that it is Covered? Leasing a space that is 3500 sq. ft. Will have 1000 Sq. ft. Patio. Will I be charged on 3500 or 4500 ?

You will be charged on the 3500 s.f., but the price per foot will reflect the amenity of a 1000 s.f. patio.

Depends if the patio is "covered."

Under BOMA method, I believe that covered areas such as covered walkways outdoor count in the footage.
