Default If I have been a professional poker player for a year, should I include...

...it for a finance job on my resume? I'm a finance major from a very good college. For the past year, I was a high limit poker player in Las Vegas. Is it wise for me to include this on my resume when applying for finance related jobs?

No; however, be prepared to explain the gap in employment during an interview.

My gut instinct tells me no. Financial companies are usually pretty conservative in their thinking. Discuss it at the interview if it comes up.
