Is anyone out there a landlord, or knows a landlord who has been prosecuted for not having an up to date gas safety certificate ? I'm interested in knowing what the penalty imposed was and how out of date the certificate was when prosecuted. My landlady is stalling and stalling over renewing ours and given that I have a new baby who's health is potentially at risk, i'd like some facts and figures to present to her.
