hi, i am 18 years of age and am looking to purchase a duplex, i plan to live in one unit and rent the other, i was wondering how old you need to be to have a mortgage in new york, at 18 will i be able to have a mortgage. i have a good steady job paying approx $55,000 a year. any help will be appreciated.
