I've recently grown tired of a timeshare property I own in Colorado, but I'm finding it difficult to unload on my own and I'm considering turning to the resale market. However, I also know this market is brimming with fraud. I worked as a research assistant in a real estate company for a while and was constantly coming across news articles exposing the slimeballs in this industry. To those with experience in the market: what should I avoid to evade getting screwed? Obviously I should read any contracts with a bloody fine-tooth comb.
