I am a 40 year resident of Arizona and a graduate of the University of Arizona. I began my Real Estate Career in 1995 with RE/MAX. Scottsdale is a city in the eastern part of Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, adjacent to Phoenix. As of 2007 the population of the city was 240,410. Scottsdale is regarded as an upscale tourist and shopping destination and as a representation of western American style. Scottsdale is bordered to the west by Phoenix and Paradise Valley, to the north by Carefree, to the south by Tempe, and to the east by Fountain Hills and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The city is located in the Salt River Valley, or the, Valley or the Sun in the northern reaches of the Sonoran Desert.
